How do providers get paid for treating patients through Online Chiro Telehealth Solution?
Providers in the network provide their bank account and routing number for patient payments to be deposited directly into their bank account. We use a payment processor to facilitate credit card payments between patients and their providers. Providers can charge patients their normal fees, or adjust their fees as they see fit. Providers can bill their patient after a session, and funds are held for a minimum of 7 days. Payments are then deposited into the provider’s bank account at the end of every Friday.
Is Telehealth reimbursable?
By law, Telehealth services are currently reimbursable through Medicare and Medicaid in over 40 states. There are 23 states that have legislation requiring commercial insurance to reimburse for telehealth. Every state has different laws, regulation, and conditions. Contact your telehealth resource center for more information.
